 About our Seminars

The research group Social and Economic History of Utrecht University annually organises two series of seminars, one in the spring and one in the fall. Papers on a range of different topics related to social and economic history, from antiquity to recent times, are presented by scholars from within and outside the Netherlands. You can find previous previous presentations in the archive​.

Papers of all seminars can be downloaded approx. 1 week in advance from this site. Lunch will be provided. Seminars take place at: Janskerkhof 13 (room 0.06), at Kromme Nieuwegracht 80 (van Ravesteynkamer) or at Drift 21 (Sweelinckzaal).
