The research programme takes place at the department of Physical Geography of Utrecht University (Faculty of Geosciences), in close collaboration with the Faculty of Humanities of Utrecht University, the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands (Rijnsdienst voor het Cultureel Erfggoed RCE) and Groningen University, Faculty of Arts.
