The members of a community decide among themselves who will have access to the Virtual Knowledge Centre. Primarily it will be researchers and/or lecturers. The main requirements are qualified expertise in the knowledge domain, and the ability to assess information on relevance and scientific reliability.
Researchers determine which MA students are allowed access to, for example, a specific research project. In this way they prepare the students for a future membership of the VKC.
Alumni can also participate. Through the mutual influence between researchers and alumni, the Virtual Knowledge Centre can grow into a stimulating form of collaboration, and may contribute to the exchange and expansion of knowledge.
